We can create a frame completely suited to your personal tastes. We have over 2,000 frame samples from local distributors to frames made in Italy. We stock thousands of matting options in a huge array of colors and materials, including suede, linen, leather, and textured mats. We also offer various protective glass options, including acrylic (plexiglass). Using our electronic mat cutter, we can cut names, numbers, letters, and certain logos to customize your piece to suit your needs.

People often bring us artwork from all around the world because we offer museum-quality framing. We use strictly acid-free materials to preserve the piece, along with all protective glass options.

It depends on what it is. If it's on canvas, it will first need to be stretched so that it's taut. We then will cut and join an interior frame, which is called Strainer Bars. Canvases need air movement, so you never want to encase them in glass. You also never want to use mats on a canvas, as mats without glass will warp. If the piece is on paper, we recommend using preservation hinging by attaching it to acid-free foamboard using conservation corner pockets or a rice hinge. This is a non-permanent mounting method. We use acid-free matting to prevent the glass from laying directly on the piece, protecting it over time while also being aesthetically pleasing.

Yes. Because we specialize in custom framing, we can assist you with the design process to make your piece look great. Some people have a clear idea of what they want, and we help educate them about the best way to preserve and enhance their artwork. Others may not have an eye for color or design or can't visualize the finished piece. For them, we have Visualization Software, which enables us to take a picture of the art and build the matting and frame around it digitally.
